Resource Verification
A wrong phone number on a hard day is not a small mistake.
What “verified” means
A resource is marked verified only after a person on our team has confirmed its details directly from the organization’s own official source, and recorded when and where it was checked.
What “Requires verification” means
We found it, but no one on our team has confirmed it yet. Please double-check details with the organization. Finding something online is never treated as verifying it, by a person or by AI.
What we record
For each resource: the organization, what it offers, who it’s for, where it serves, languages, cost, hours, phone, website, the date it was last verified, the source used and who checked it.
Local pages
We only create a page for a city or region once there are enough verified resources there to genuinely help.
